so. i have been away in the pixel mines these long months...only to come back and find... *SIGH* my site has vanished in a puff of smoke. which is also why you will no longer see the images that were posted on said site. appears my hosting service has died. which i suppose means- i need to find another hosting service. also probably means ¡dread! a new site.

STYLE DISORDER

a glowing review for the *chibi* RACERS on Canimal Zephyr's cool blog STYLE DISORDER.
in case you're not hip to this virtual obsession of mine, *chibi* RACERS are a collection of avatars i've made and sell in Second Life. the designs are based on some of my recurrent characters...and started out as "costumes" for the machinima i am slowly and painfully working toward completing in SL.
i love the cute pix of Canimal and friends testing out their chibis...fun!
some day i will raise a mighty army of chibis and go racing across the metaverse leaving a sea of *kawaii* in our wake! until then...back to the pixel mines for me. ~_~

FULL VINYL

check it out...i literally made it into the cover of this awesome book: FULL VINYL: The Subversive Art of Designer Toys by Ivan Vartanian. "into?" you say? yup...the keychain that's included in the cover of every book was designed by yours truly. my first vinyl. plus i got a sweet spread on the inside too (p. 076). yay! one step closer to actually MAKING SOME TOYS?

aaawright...so i only managed 5 paintings this week, but all things considered, not too bad. in glorious water-color...which i haven't attempted in ages. luckily, my *tutor* kicks much butt in this area.
